In February 2022 we joined a physical mobility in Tenerife. Since the pandemic was still spreading, students stayed with teachers at the hotel and were not hosted by the local families for safety reasons. The main topic of this mobility was cultural diversity and diversity in all its forms, with an invitation to reflect about the richness of diversity in every context: social, racial, functional, economical, sexual. Our students Letizia, Grazia, Marika and Simon focused on the topic of racial diversity. We had the chance to visit some important spots of Tenerife: the tiny town of Vilaflor with its unforgettable handcraft and the volcano el Teide, with a stunning astronomical lesson at night by our experienced tour guide. Here is our students' feedback:
I have done other Erasmus before, but the one in Tenerife I think was the
best. I made tons of new friends and met great people. During our stay we did
a lot of great activities, such as treasure hunt. I would recommend everyone
to have these experiences, they are things that form you not only on a lexical
level but also on a personal level. (Letizia)
Each journey leads to the discovery of something. Mobility in Tenerife allowed
me to get to know a new reality and to compare myself with other guys. I love
the Erasmus life, this was the third for me, and I wish I would never stop
participating in these projects. My goal is to travel the world and get to know
as many cultures as possible. Tenerife was very welcoming, the other
students very helpful and the school, that is, very different from the Italian
one. I would like to have a school in Sardinia that accepts all kinds of
diversity. A young, revolutionized school like Ies Los Cristianos. (Marika)
It was a wonderful experience that I would gladly do again .. the welcome in
the city made us feel at ease, the days spent together were wonderful and the
activities really interesting, each with the purpose of enriching the language
and getting to know many people from different countries learning different
lifestyles and cultures from ours, accepting every diversity. Despite the
obstacles of the Covid emergency, all the projects were carried out with
tranquillity, forgetting the pandemic for a moment; I love travelling and this
was an experience that I will keep in my cultural baggage. (Grazia)

Nel Febbraio 2022 abbiamo organizzato una mobilità fisica presso la scuola partner Los Cristianos di Tenerife, Spagna. Poiché ci troviamo ancora in piena pandemia , gli studenti e le studentesse hanno soggiornato con i docenti in hotel, dal momento che stare presso le famiglie ospitanti avrebbe potuto essere rischioso per il contagio. Il tema di questa mobilità è stato la diversità, intesa in tutte le sue forme. Le studentesse della nostra scuola hanno preparato una presentazione sulla diversità razziale, mentre gli altri gruppi hanno affrontato il tema della diversità sessuale, economica, sociale, funzionale. Oltre alle attività didattiche svolte a scuola, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di conoscere alcuni luoghi strategici del territorio: la piccola cittadina di Vilaflor, famosa per il suo artigianato e il vulcano spento El Teide, sulla cima del quale abbiamo assistito ad una splendida lezione di astronomia da parte della nostra guida esperta. Ecco, di seguito, i feedback dei nostri studenti su questa mobilità:
Ho fatto altre esperienze Erasmus prima, ma questa a Tenerife è stata la migliore. Ho fatto tante nuove amicizie e incontrato persone splendide. Abbiamo svolto tante attività durante il nostro soggiorno, come la caccia al tesoro. Consiglio a tutti di fare queste esperienze, importanti non solo da un punto di vista linguistico, ma personale. Ogni viaggio porta alla scoperta di qualcosa. La mobilità a Tenerife mi ha permesso di conoscere una nuova realtà e di fare un confronto tra me e gli altri. Amo la vita Erasmus, questa è stata la mia terza esperienza e spero di non smettere mai di partecipare a questi progetti. Il mio obiettivo è viaggiare in tutto il mondo e conoscere il maggior numero possibile di culture. Tenerife è stata molto accogliente e la scuola è molto diversa da quella Italiana. Mi piacerebbe che ci fosse, in Sardegna, una scuola che accetta tutti i tipi di diversità. Una scuola giovane e rivoluzionaria come quella di los Cristianos! (Marika)
E' stata un'esperienza meravigliosa che rifarei volentieri. Il benvenuto a Tenerife ci ha messo a nostro agio, i giorni trascorsi insieme e le attività svolte sono stati molto interessanti, ognuna con l'obiettivo di arricchirci linguisticamente e culturalmente, permettendoci di conoscere persone di diversi luoghi del mondo e accettandone le diversità. Nonostante l'ostacolo rappresentato dall'emergenza Covid, tutte le attività si sono svolte con tranquillità e serenità. Amo viaggiare e questa è stata un'esperienza che porterò nel mio bagaglio culturale. (Grazia)
La mobilità a Tenerife mi ha permesso di conoscere una nuova realtà e di fare un confronto tra me e gli altri. Tenerife è stata molto accogliente, gli altri studenti sono stati molto gentili e di grande aiuto. Ho fatto tante nuove amicizie e mi è piaciuto parlare con loro e svolgere le attività previste dal progetto. Ho imparato molto sulla diversità durante questo progetto. Spero di tornare un giorno a Tenerife (Simon).
